Taptonville House Patients

Daily Emergency appointments are available for patients who are regular attenders at Taptonville House. Appointments are only available on the day. Please call from 8.15am to enquire about emergency appointments.

Priority is given to patients with trauma, bleeding, or swelling and to children.

Out of Hours and Emergency Patients who are not registered with this practice

This city wide service is available for patients without a dentist and have extreme pain, swelling, bleeding or trauma. Calls are handled by the national 111 service who confirm access for appointments to patients. This is a commissioned NHS service and appointments are triaged by 111 not Taptonville House. Taptonville House staff provide a service to patients across this city on the basis of 111 assessments. All patients attending on this basis will have confirmed appointments from 111.

The normal NHS charge of £21.60 applies for consultation unless proof of exemption is produced at reception.

A government refund can be made with a paid NHS receipt and the HC5 form available at reception.

Please attend for your appointment in good time as patients arriving later than 10 minutes for their appointment may not be able to be seen and will have to call 111 to make a further appointment. Ensure you arrive with plenty of time to find a parking space if you are driving. On street parking in Broomhill is inexpensive, the practice parking is reserved for staff.

Private Emergency appointments are available and private appointments to save or remove teeth.
