Emergency Patients

Taptonville House Patients
Daily Emergency appointments are available for patients who are regular attenders at Taptonville House. Appointments are only available on the day. Please call from 8.15am  to receive a morning appointment between 10am and 1pm.

Priority is given to trauma, bleeding, swelling and children.

PRIMECARE: In Hours and Out of Hours Emergency Patients
This service is available for patients without a dentist and have extreme pain, swelling, bleeding or trauma. Calls are handled by the Sheffield PCT through Primecare on 08447 368440. This is a contracted NHS service and appointments are made by Primecare not Taptonville House.

The normal NHS charge of £16.50 applies for consultation unless proof of exemption is produced at reception.

Government refund can be made with a paid NHS receipt and the HC5 form available at reception.

Please attend for your appointment in good time as patients arriving late than 20 minutes for their appointment may not be able to be seen and will have to call Prime care to make a further appointment.

Private Emergency appointments are available and private appointments to save or remove teeth.
